The 45th Pattam Jeeyar of Sri Ahobila Mutt, Paramahamsa Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Divya Padhuka Sevaka Srivann Satakopa Narayana Yatheendra Mahadesikan’s 85th Thirunakshathra Mahothsavams are grandly celebrated in the presence of Sri Malola Perumal (the presiding deity of Ahobila Mutt) under the supervision of the 46th Pattam Ahobila Mutt Jeeyar Sri Ranganatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan in Srirangam. Thousands of people participated in doing Mangalasasanams to the revered acharya. Earlier yesterday evening Periya AzhagiyaSingar was carried on a Pallakku (Palanquin) to the Venue when Samskruta, Dravida Veda Parayana is being carried out by hundreds of Adhyapakas, women danced, crackers were fired, Elephants and horses announced Swami’s arrival. The 46th Pattam Jeeyar led the procession of Pallakku. Many Divya Desa Perumals sent their Bahumanam (gifts) to the Azhagiya singars. Thousands thronged to do mangalasasanams to the Acharya Simham, all of them were given Sri Sathari and Sripada theerdam personally by 46th Pattam Jeeyar. Many disciples submitted kainkaryams for the future activities of Ahobila Mutt (including towards the construction of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Navi Mumbai) on this great occassion.
