Sri Rama Navami Celebrations at Delhi Temples

Sri Rama Navami was celebrated in a grand manner at New Delhi Temples on April 1, 2012. Bhaktas had delightful sights of mesmirising Sita Rama alankarams at various temples.

At Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir, Ber Sarai, thirumanjanam to utsavar (Sri Ranganathar) along with ubhaya nachiyars was conducted along with Srimad Thirukudanthai Andavan in the morning. In the evening, Sri Ranganayaki and Sri Ranganathar (utsava murthies) gave sevai to bhaktas in Sita Ramar alankaram.

At Sri Venkateswara Mandir, RK Puram, thirumanjanam to utsavar was conducted in the morning and Sri Rama, Illaya Perumal and Janaki were taken out in procession (purappadu) around the koil prakaram in the evening.

At Sri Ram Mandir, Lodhi Road, thirumanjanam to utsava murthies of Sita and Ramar was conducted in the morning followed by Kalayana Utsavam in the afternoon.
