Today (Chithirai Pournami – May 6, 2012) Gajendra Moksham was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Venkateswara Thirukkoil, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. The act of Perumal granting moksham to Gajendran was symbolically performed in the evening. Sri Srinivasar (utsavar) on Garudazhwan showered His anugraham on Gajendran (in the koil prakaram) during the purapaddu at around 7.30 pm.
