Sri Paduka Sahasram Parayanam, Sri Vaikuntanathar Thirukkoil, New Delhi

With the grace of Acharyan Sarvabhauman Sri Nigamantha Mahadesikan and of the great achayaras on the successful completion of Sri Paduka Sahasram santhai (class) by Andavan Thiruvadi Sri U. Ve. Aravamudachariar Swami, Sri Paduka Sahasram Parayanam was conducted by the Swami and and his shishyas today at  Sri Vaikuntanathar Thirukkoil, Srimad Andavan Ashramam, Ber Sarai, New Delhi. The parayanam commenced at 8 am and was concluded at 12 noon.

Earlier last month (April 15, 2012), the Swami and his shishyas conducted the parayanam at Sri Venkateswara Temple, New Delhi. (http://anudinam.org/2012/04/15/sri-paduka-sahasram-parayanam-sri-venkateswara-temple-new-delhi/)

The Swami will be conducting Srimad Bhagawad Geeta sandhai class on the weekends from July 7, 2012 onwards.

About the temple:

Sri Vaikuntanathji Mandir at Sri Vedanta Desika Marg in Ber Sarai, New Delhi was established on Uttaratadi, Karthigai in 1972 by Srimad Thirukkudanthai Andavan (the then pontiff of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam). Moolavar is Sri Vaikuntanathar, Utsavar Sri Ranganathar and Thayar Sri Ranganayaki. Andal nachiyar is also present in the main sannidhi. In September 2011, sthapanam of Lakshmi Hayagreevar murthi took place during the Pavitrotsavam. Separate sannidhis are there for Anjaneya and Chakrathalwar and Narasimhan (yoga).
