Swami Desikan Avatara Mahotsavam is scheduled to take place in a grand manner at Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD), Mylapore, from October 4th to 13, 2013. There will be purappadu for Swami Desikan in various vahanams during the 10-day utsavam. Astikas are requested to participate in large numbers in this utsavam.
