On November 7, 2013, Garuda Sevai took place at SriDevi BhooDevi Sametha Sri Venkatachalapathy Temple, Kumbakonam. Maha Samprokshanam took place on this day in the morning followed by Garuda Sevai in the evening at the temple which is located on the banks of River Arasalar. There was prathishtapanam of a new flagmast (Dwajasthambam) at the temple. There are separate sannadhis for Sri Padmavathi Thayar, Panchamukha Anjaneyar and Dasavatharam at the temple. Several devotees participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of the Divya Dampathis.
