Vijaya varusha Thai Brahmotsavam at Sri Saranayaki sametha Sri Saranatha Perumal Temple, Thirucherai commenced on January 8, 2014 with Ankurarpanam. Dwajarohanam and Day 1 utsavam took place with purappadu in Indira Vimanam on the following day (January 9, 2014). On Day 2 of the utsavam (January 10, 2014), Perumal gave sevai as Dwarakadeesh. The utsavam will carry on until January 18, 2014.
