As part of the Ongoing Panguni Brahmotsavam at Mannargudi Sri Rajagopalaswami Temple, On 30 March 2014, Vijaya Varusha Panguni Utthiratathi is the day12 of Mannargudi Rajagopalaswamy Panguni Brahmotsvam, in the Morning Perumal purappadu started at at 8.00 am in the Pallaku in “VAIRAMUDI SEVAI” . Firstly the Divya Prabanda goshti Thodakam happens before Embarumanar Sannathi in the Temple. The Perumal Sadagopan taken by the Deeshithar along with Kattiyam and Theevati and garlanded to Embarumanar. After that the Sadagopam was performed to all the gosshtikars and started Thodakkam.After that Perumal Thiruveedhi Ula on 4 Pragarams Called “GOPALA SAMUTHIRAM” South Street, West Street, North Street and then East Street. In this 4 Pragarams all the Bakthas in his house to perform pooja with Prasadam, aarathi in each and every house. Along with Perumal Veda Prabanda goshti, Rig Vedha Koshti and Sama Veda Koshti are performed in all the 4 Veedhees. The East Street Near Theradi the Divya Prabanda goshti Sathumurai is performed.

After that Perumal Thirukovil Ezhuntharulal and Kumbarathi at Vanamalai Mutt near Temple. After that Perumal Palliarai Ezhuntharulal. At around 1.00 pm. Perumal Thiruvadi Thirumanjanam is performed in grand manner and Theerthaprasada Viniyogam. At around 7.00 pm Perumal Purappadu in “THANGA GARUDA SEVAI” in “VAIKUNDA NATHAN” Thirukolam. Near Rajagopuram Perumal Karpura Harati is performed. After that in “Theradi” “Errattaikudai Sevai” is performed in Garuda Vahanam. The Ubhayakarar for this Garuda Sevai is from Pranthiyangarai Komal Vagayara, who are doing this kaingaryam for more than 7 decades. At the time of Perumal Purappadu Special Nadaswara Innisai is performed. A special Vana Vedikai is also performed at the time of Perumal Purappadu and then Perumal proceed to ” Garuda Vahana Mandapam” at around 12.00 am (next day) situated near Panthaladi around 4.00 kms from Temple.

In Garudavaha Mandapam a Special Pooja is also performed and Prasada Viniyogam is distributed to Bakthas and Sevarthikals. After that in Panthaladi Garuda Vahanam Purappadu in ” Garuda Vahana Chapparam” decorated with lightings and Ponniyamman Polytechnic Students and other Bakthas are After that the Garudavahana Sevai, Kumba Harati is performed near Vanamalai Mutt and Palliarai Ezhuntharulal at around 7.00 am in the next day (01.04.2014). Thousands of Astikas took part in the utsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
