On April 21, 2014; Jaya Varusha Chitrai puradam, being Day 7 Sri Parthasarathy Perumal Brahmothsavam, Perumal purappadu took place in Thiruther in morning. Perumal purappadu proceeded along with a grand arulicheyal ghoshti and veda parayanam ghoshti in the thirumaada veedhis of Thiruvallikeni.Perumal proceeded to the Ther between 4:30 am and 5:30 am in Meena Lagnam.Parthasarathy or Parthanin Sarathy is the one who drove the Chariot of Arjuna in Mahabharatham. As he is the Master of the Chariot perumal swiftly came back to the Theradi around 8:15 am in less than an hour and fifteen minutes when the Ther started at 7 am. A huge gathering of devotees had thronged to pull HIS chariot and to see the Ther procession.Several devotees participated in the utsavam and received Sri Parthasarathy Perumal’s blessings.
