The 3-day Avatarotsavam at Sundara Raja Swamy Sannidhi at Thiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Thayar temple concluded on June 20, 2014; Aani Uthirattadhi with Garuda Sevai in the evening.
Earlier in the day, Thirumanjanam was performed to the moolavar Sri Sundararajaswamy and Sri Padmavathi Thayar. Special Kalyanotsavam took place for Sri Padmavathi Thayar between 10.30am to 12 noon. Thereafter, Thirumanjanam was performed to utsava moorthy of Sri Sundararajaswamy and his consorts Bhudevi and Sridevi with milk, curd, sandal paste, and variety of flowers and fruits. Oonjal seva took place in the evening followed by Garuda Sevai around the four Mada streets.
On the first day (June 18, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aani Avittam), Suprabhatam was followed by Sahasranamarchana while Kalyanotsavam was performed for Sri Padmavathi Thayar between 10.30am to 12pm. In the afternoon, Thirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities of Sridevi, Bhudevi with Sundara Raja Swamy. Oonjal seva took place in the evening followed by purappadu for Sri Sundara Raja Swamy on Peddasesha Vahanam around the four mada streets.
On Day 2 (June 19, 2014), similar to the first day, all utsavams took place during the day and Perumal had purappadu on Hanumantha Vahanam in the evening between 7:15 pm and 8:30 pm. Today, June 20, 2014, purappdu is scheduled to take place on Garuda Vahanam.
