On 28 June 2014, Jaya Varusha Aani Punarpoosam, Punarvasu Nakshatram was celebrated in grand manner at West Mambalam Sri Kothanda Ramar Temple, Chennai. Around 6.30 pm, Goshti Seva took place with Perumal Thirumozhi recitation and at 8 pm. Perumal Ul Purappadu with Paththiula and Oonjal Sevai took place thereafter. Several devotees participated in the evening purappadu and had beautiful darshan of Divyadampatis.
