Today, July 5, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aani Hastham, Day 4 of the ongoing Swami Desikan Vasanthotsavam was celebrated grandly at Thiruvahindrapuram Sri Devanathan Perumal Temple. On this occasion, Swami Desikan had Thirumanjanam in the morning and Thiruveethi purappadu in the evening with grand arulicheyal and veda ghosti. Being Saturday, Sri Devanathan along with Ubhaya Nachiyars had purappdu in the evening.
On July 4, 2014, Day 3 of the utsavam was celebrated well. As it was Vellikizhamai, Sri Hemambhujavalli thayar had Ul purappadu. After the purappadu, asthanam took place with Swami Desikan. Several devotees took part in the Vasanthotsavam and had the blessings of Swami Desikan and Divya Dampatis.
