Sri Andal Tiruppavai Mahotsava Sabha is celebrating the 16th Tamil Marai Innisai Thiruvizha for three days from 7th July to 9th July 2014 (Aani swati to Aani anusham). There will be upanyasams by eminent scholars from 10am to 1 pm on all the three days and music concerts in the evenings. The venue is Sri Desika Sannidhi, North Chitrai St., Srirangam. HH Srimad Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan inaugurates the festival at 10am on 7th with his Anugraha Bashanam.
Sri Andal Tiruppavai Mahotsava Sabha has been celebrating TIRUPPAVAI MAHOTSAVAM in the month of THAI (Jan/Feb) for the last 24 years,. The 25th year celebration will be in Feb.2015.
Tamil Marai Innisai Tiruvizha was started in 1999 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sriman Nathamnunigal (Aani anusham)who was responsible for the redemptioon of 4000 Divya Prabhandam. This festival was held at Sri Amudan Sannidhi at Kumbakonam for the first 10 years and there after venue has been shifted. This year it is being celebrated at SRIRANGAM
