Jaya Varusha Brahmotsavam at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Perungalathur, Chennai, concluded on July 15, 2014 with Pushpa Pallakku purappadu for Perumal and Thayars in the evening. On Day 5 (July 14, 2014), in the morning Porvai Kalathal and Mattaiadi Utsavam took place. On Day 4, Perunal gave sevai in Mohini Alankaram while in the evening Kudhirai Vahana purappadu took place well.
The Brahmotsavam at the temple, organised by SVDD Sabha, commenced on July 10, 2014 with Dwajarohanam in the morning. In the evening, Perumal had purappadu on Simha Vahanam. On the previous day, Ankurarpanam took place well. On Day 3, in the morning, Garuda Sevai took place well while in the evening, Perumal had purappadu on Hanumantha Vahanam. Several astikas in the area are participating in the utsavam which will conclude on July 14, 2014.
