On July 17, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aadi Pooratadhi, Aanivara Asthanam at Tirumala Sri Malayappaswamy Temple was celebrated grandly. Aanivara Asthanam is one of the important festivals in Tirupathi and Tirumala temples. This is held every year in the last day of Tamil month Aani (i.e) beginning of the Dakshinayana Punyakalam. This marks the commencement of writing new temple accounts.
On the occasion of Aanivara Asthanam in the morning, asthanam took place for Sri Malayappaswamy alongwith Viswaksenar in Bangaru Vakili. Tirumala HH Sri Periya Kelviappan and Seriya Kelviappan Jeeyars performed mangalasasanam and presented new vastrams to Sri Malayappaswamy. And in evening Sri Sri Malayappaswamy had thiruveethi purappadu in Pushpa Pallaku. Several devotees participated in the Aanivara Asthanam and received the blessings of the Divya Dampathis.
