On July 21, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aadi Bharani, the 10-day Thiruvadipooram Utsavam commenced at Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD) Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Mylapore, Chennai. Sri Andal in beautiful alankaram had purappadu in the evening.The utsavam will culminate into Sri Andal’s thirunakshatram on July 30, 2014.
Meanwhile, on August 1, 2014, Jyeshtabhishekam is scheduled to take place for Sri Srinivasa Perumal and Thayar on Aadi Hastham. Astikas may make it convenient to attend this utsavam as well, as it a very special one at this temple.
