On, 12 September,2014, Jaya Varusha Aswini; is the day 4 of Pavithrotsavam celebrated in grand manner at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Kovil, Kanchipuram. The day starts with Perumal thirumanjam at 9.00 a.m followed by dwara kumbha mandalam thiruvardhanam, nivedhanam and Homam starts and completes with poornahuthi around 12.30 p.m.In the evening around 6.00 p.m, Sri Devapperumal with his consorts thiruveedhi purappadu to thiruvadi kovil and returns backs to Temple Kili mandapam . Then Dvara kumbam Mandala thiruvaradhanam , Peruma Thiruvaradhanam and nivedhanam are performed followed by homam and poornahuthi. Later perumal gets backs to Kannadi Arai.. Lot of astikas took part in the day 4 of pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
