The following are some of the photos taken during the occasion…
the pictures are very good.those who were not able to go to srirangam enjoyed seeing the photos. If it had been a video it would have been much better
Dear Mr.Ramanikrishnamurthi, I had been there and saw many devotees had come and waited until late in then night. At certain times one could not even take photos using Mobile Camera. If you enjoyed seeing the photos itself imagine how the enthusiasm of the devotees will be at that time when they are present in temple. Therefore I feel Video will be a difficult task. However the person who had pictured has done it very well and sequenced the pictures.
Yes I fully agree with Shri Ramamurthy Swamin. It is very difficult to take video of the entire purappadu which lasts for more than 2 hours every day during Irrappattu Utsavam especially when there is a huge assembly of devotees. Even taking photos will be difficult but the Website’s photographer has taken wonderful pictures of almost all the important aspects of the entire purappadu. Congrats to him.
Thank you so much for these excellent pictures.
I couldn’t find day7 (kaithala sevai) pciture. Will be grateful if those can be published as well.
here is the link for the video of THiru Kaithala Sevai

This website and the efforts of people like yourself can’t be appreciated in words- A boon for people like us sitting thousands of miles away and missing utsavams back home. Renganathan and Parankusa Nayaki’s blessings be with you.
