On, 26th January 2015, Jaya Varusha Thai Revathi; is the day of Rathasapthami. In the early morning to evening, Perumal Thiruveedhi Purappadu took place in Surya Prabhai in the morning and Chandra Prabhai in the evening at Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple,MGR Nagar, Chennai. Thiruveedhi purappadu took place in grand manner at temple streets of MGR nagar. Lot of Astikas took part in the Perumal thiruveedhi Purappadu and had the blessings of Perumal.
