Srirangam Thirupannazhwar

Amalanadhipiran day 6

On 20/3/2015 Vasudevan swami continued and completed Pasuram-3 of Amalanadipiran. The makaram denoting jeevatma is ‘Anu swaroopam’  atomic in size. It is endowed with gnanam. Tiruppanazhwar talked about Vaikuntanathan coming down as Venkanathan and further down as Ranganathan. The Perumal standing on Tirumalai hills is greater than the Lord of Srivaikuntam but the Lord of Srirangam is the greatest in terms of saulabhyam. He is the Chintamani (wish fulfilling gem) guarded carefully by Adiseshan. Tiruppanazhwar’s sight has travelled from His Feet, to His Peetambaram, waist ,and rests on His navel. The Navel reminds Azhwar of the birth of Brahma. It is Beautiful as it is the birthplace of Creation. His Aadithvam is shown by The Navel. The Nabhi kamalam (The lotus bearing navel) shows His Paratvam. Brahma creates as per His wishes. When we say some king built a temple it does not mean that  he actually built it. He would have employed so many workers and paid them yet no one remembers the workers. The king is the architect, financier ,employer and instigator, So also The Birthless Sriman Narayana makes Brahma create and has no equal or parallel. On seeing Ranganatha our dasatvam (subservience) becomes apparent. After sighting His navel Tiruppanazhwar sights His waist-belt and wonders whether it is a crown to His stomach. This is the stomach which houses the Entire Creation. Herein lies dormant  every bit of Creation from Brahma deva to the tiny worm. With His agatitha gatana samarthyam , He executes the seemingly impossible. He looks for the loopholes in the boons given by Brahma and other gods  to asuras and rakshasas like Hirankasipu and Ravana and saves the gods. He does according to the dictates of His devotees. Devaki became a grandmother the day she gave birth to Krishna for her son was father to Brahma. Obeying His mother He sheds His Shanku/chakram to become an ordinary balakan. Such then His Saulabhyam, Sausheelyam inspite of being Paratatvam.
