On, August 1, 2015, Manmadha varusha Aadi Sravanam. Sravanotsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Sri Vaikundavaasa Perumal temple, Elangadu, Vandavasi. On this occasion in the morning speical thiruvaradhanam and thirumanjanam was performed to Perumal. Several sishyas took part in the utsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis
Elangadu is a small village 8 Kms from Vandavasi and it can be reached by going through the Vandavasi Tindivanam Road and taking a 2 km road towards Ponnur. There is a small sign board on the Vandavasi Tindivanam Road, where the road to this village starts. Advance information is required in this regard, as the Archagar has to travel from Navalpakkam Village which is about 5 to 6 kms.
