The temple is located about 30kms South of Tirunelveli, off the Nagercoil Highway and about 10kms from Thiru Kurungudi Divya Desam is Vaanamaalai Thothadri Nathan Divya Desam at Nanguneri. On November 22nd 2015, there was a Purappadu for Sri Deivanayaga Perumal along with His Consorts. Many devotees participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis. The message behind the Kaisika Ekadesi day reinforces the fact that caste is not a hindrance in attaining Him and true Bhakthi alone is enough.
