On, November 21, 2015; Manmadha Varusha Karthikai Poorattathi, Pavithrotsavam commenced in grand manner at Sri Valvil Ramaswamy Temple, Thirupullamboothangudi. On this occasion being day-1 in the morning Navakalsa Stapanam ,Kumbha Prathishta,Agni Prathistha after that Homam took place admist arulicheyal and veda ghosti. Later Thiru Pavithra Samarpanai took place followed by Homam in the morning and evening.Several Astikas took part in the day 1 of ThiruPavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
