Thirukarthigai Deepam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Venugopalaswami Temple, Alathurai, Vanthavasi vattam, Thiruvannamalai district. On November 25th 2015, in the morning Vishesha Thirumanjanam was performed to Perumal and in the evening Karthigai Deepam was lit in all the sannadhis and Thailakappu was applied to Moolavar. Later the burning of Sokkapanai was witnessed. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
