Vaikunda Ekadasi, the most holy day of supreme significance for all Sri Vaishnavaites, was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Ahobila Mutt Sri Balaji Mandir, Pune. On December 21st 2015, being Vaikunta Ekadasi, Sri Perumal along with His Consorts had Muthangi Sevai in the morning and entered through paramapada vasal and blessed the devotees. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place followed by Ul Purappadu. Thousands of devotees thronged to have dharshan of Divyadampathis and Azhwars and received the blessings. Devotees feel enlightened and blessed, when they cross the entrance – Vaikunda door ~ the paramapada vasal ` the sorga vasal’.
