Thai Vellikizhamai Purappadu took place well at Mylapore Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD) Srinivasa Perumal Temple. On February 5th 2016, Sri Thayar had Gajalakshmi Vahanam followed by Ul Purappadu and Oonjal Sevai was performed. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several Bakthas participated in the Thai Vellikizhamai Purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Thayar.
