Theppotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Srivilliputhur Sri Vadapathrasayanar Temple. On February 22nd 2016, in the evening Sri Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram followed by Purappadu for Theppotsavam with grand arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. On the Day 2 Utsavam, Sri Perumal with His Ubhaya Nachiyars and Sri Peyazhwar had Purappadu for Theppotsavam. Many Bakthas participated in the Utsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
