On, 11 April 2016, Chithirai Brahmotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Vanamamalai Sri Deivanayaga Perumal Temple. On april 10th 2016, Mruthsangraham was conducted in the temple premises. Next day in early morning hours Dvajarohanam took place in dvajasathambam as per the agama sastras. Later in the evening Sri Perumal had Thiruveethi Purappadu with arulicheyal goshti. Many Bakthas participated in the chithirai Brahmotsavam and had darshan of Divyadampathis
