Sravanam and Vellikizhamai Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple. On May 27th 2016, Sri Perumal with His Consorts and Sri Thayar had Thiruveethi Purappadu along with Swami Desikan. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the Purappadu and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Swami Desikan.
