The 3-day Avatharotsavam at Sundara Raja Swamy Sannidhi at Thiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Thayar temple commenced in Tiruchanoor on June 25th 2016.
Earlier in the day, Thirumanjanam was performed to the moolavar Sri Sundararajaswamy and Sri Padmavathi Devi. Special Kalyanotsavam took place for Sri Padmavathi Devi between 10.30am to 12 noon. Thereafter, Thirumanjanam was performed to utsava moorthy of Sri Sundararajaswamy and his consorts Bhudevi and Sridevi with milk, curd, sandal paste, and variety of flowers and fruits. Oonjal seva took place in the evening followed by Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva around the four Mada streets.
