Beautiful explanation of Kodai utsavam. Adiyen has a question here, please pardon adiyen’s ignorance, in Srirangam, this festival is conducted during Chittirai (March – April) itself, but in other places, this utsavam happens only during Aani (June – July).. any idea why the summer in TN is still called Vasantham and start of North East monsoon during Aadi is called Greeshmam?
