On 13 September 2015, Durmukhi Varusham Avani Uthiradam; ThiruPavithrothsavam commenced in a grand manner at Vanamamalai Sri Deivanayaga Perumal Temple. On being day-1 in the Morning Serthi took for Srivaramangai Thayar , Sri Deivanayaga Perumal ,Sri Andal after that Sayana Sevai took place Thayar Madil Perumal along with Ubhya Nachiyars and Andal took place in grand manner .In the afternoon Pavithra malai Satruthal took place and in the evening homam took place with grand Arulicheyal and Veda ghosti.. Lot of Astikas took part in the ThiruPavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
