On 1st October 2016, Durmuki Varusha Purattasi Chithirai, Day 1 Navarathri Utsavam for Sri Abhishekavalli Thayar Commences at Sri Bhakthavatsala Perumal Temple, Thirukannamangai Divya desam. On the first day of Navarthri Utsavam, in the morning at 11AMThirumanjanam took place, Evening at 7 PM Sri Abhishekavalli Thayar ul Purappadu took place in grand manner followed by Golu. The Navarathiri Utsavam will be celebrated until 11st October 2016. All Astikas are Invited to attend the Navarathri Utsavam and get the blessings of Abhishekavalli Thayar and Sri Bhakthavatsala Perumal.
