On, 26 October 2016; Durmukhi Varusha Aippasi Pooram, Being Krishna Paksha Ekadasi, Perumal purappadu took place in grand manner at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Temple, Lower Ahobilam . On this occasion,in the morning thirumanjanam was performed to Sri Prahlada varadan and asthanam. Later in the In the evening, Sri Prahlada Varadhan with his consorts purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Several astikas participated in the purappadu and received the blessings of Divyadampatis.
