On, 29 October 2016; Durmukhi Varusha Aippasi Hastham; being Deepavali Thirunaal, Perumal maada veedhi purappadu took place at Sri Parthasarathy Temple, Thiruvallikeni, Chennai.On this occasion in the evening Thiruveethi Purappadu took place for Sri Parthasarathy Perumal along with Ubhaya Nachiyars, Also it is the day 4 of Sri Manavala Mamunigal avatara utsavam, As part of the utsavam Swami Manavala Mamunigal in Kedayam joined during Perumal Purappadu. The processeion goes with grand arulicheyal and veda ghosti. Lot of astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Manavala Mamunigal and Divya Dampathis.
