On 22nd November 2016, Durmukhi Karthikai Magam; Koil Azhwar Thirumanjanam was performed at Thiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Thayar Temple, Tirupathi. As a part of this, the entire temple, walls, roofs, sub-shrines etc. in Tiruchanoor temple were cleaned with sacred paste and water. The pooja materials were also cleansed on this occasion.
