Vaikunda Ekadasi Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Alwarpet Sri Kothandaramar Temple. On January 8th 2017, in the morning Sri Perumal entered the Paramapada Vasal followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu on Garuda Vahanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took palce with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Hundreds of devotees thronged in the Utsavam to have dharshan of Sri Perumal and received the blessings.
