As part of the ongoing Vaikasi Brahmotsavam at Sri Jagannatha Perumal Divya Desam, Nathan Koil, Garuda Sevai took place on June 12, 2017 (Hevilambi Vaikasi Pooradam). Brahmotsavam commenced on June 8, 2017. On the same day, the pontiff of Sri Vanamamalai Mutt, HH Madurakavi Sri Vanamamalai Ramanuja Jeeyar, (31st pattam) was received with Poorna Kumba at the temple. The Brahmotsavam is taking place in the presence of HH Vanamalai Jeeyar Swamy.
