On June 13, 2017 (Hevilambi Varusha Vaikasi 2nd Sravanam), Swami Desikan maasa Thirunakshatram was celebrated in grand manner at Thirukkannamangai Divya Desam. On this occasion, in the morning vishesha thirumanjanam was performed for Swami Desikan followed by goshti parayanam. Later in the evening around 5 pm, Swami Desikan Thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the temple streets of Thirukannamangai. Many astikas took part in the maasa thirunkshatra purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Hayagreevar and Swami Desikan.
108 திவ்ய தேசத்தில் ஒன்றான திருக்கண்ணமங்கை திவ்ய தேசத்தில் ஸ்ரீ பக்தவத்ஸலப் பெருமாள் திருக்கோயிலில் வடவண்டை ப்ரகாரத்தில் எழுந்தருளியுள்ள ஸ்ரீ நிகமாந்த மஹா தேஸிகனுக்கு நேற்று ஹேவிளம்பி வருஷ வைகாசி 30 (13.06.2017) செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை ஸ்ரவணத்தை முன்னிட்டு காலை விசேஷ திருமஞ்சனமும், மாலை 5 மணிக்கு அருளிச்செயல் கோஷ்டியுடன் திருவீதிப் புறப்பாடும் நடைபெற்றது. சுமார் 6.30 மணிக்கு உள்ளே எழுந்தருளி, திருவாராதனம் கண்டருளி சாற்றுமுறை நடைபெற்றது. ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு தரிசித்து ஸ்ரீ ஹயக்ரீவன், ஸ்ரீ நிகமாந்த மஹா தேசிகனின் அருளைப் பெற்றனர்.
