On June 16, 2017 (Helvilambi Aani Sadayam), Navaneetha Sevai for the Perumals of Thanjavur took place in a grand manner. Navaneetha Sevai takes place on the following day of the famous 24 Garuda Sevai of Thanjavur. On the previous day, beautifully decorated Perumals on Garuda Vahana were led by Thirumangai Azhwar on Hamsa Vahanam. Several devotees witnessed the Navaneetha Sevai in the four main streets of Thanjavur. Prasadams were distributed to devotees. Buttermilk was served at various places.
