Today June 24, 2017, Hevilambi Aani Amavasai purappadu took place for Sri Rajagoplaswamy at Mannargudi in a grand manner. Perumal had purappadu under a Pattu Kodai which was offered to Sri Rajagoplaswamy on Ekadasi (June 20, 2017) for the first time.
Yesterday, June 23, 2017 (Hevilambi Aani Rohini), Sri Rajagoplaswamy had veedhi purappadu along with Thayar in beautiful alankarams (Irattai purappadu). Serthi purappadu took place for Thayar and Perumal on account of velli kizhamai and Rohini nakshatram respectively. Thayar gave sevai under the pattu Kodai (offered to Perumal on Ekadasi) during the purappadu. Several devotees participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of the DivyaDampathis on both days.
