Hevilambi Varusha Brahmotsavam started on July 5, 2017 at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Perungalathur, Chennai. On Day 1 morning, Srinivasa perumal was decorated beautifully with garlands and jewelleries. In the evening, Perumal had thiruveedhi purappadu on simha vahanam. On Day 2 (July 6, 2017) morning, Srinivas perumal was adorned elegantly with pushpa malai and had purapadu on Hamsa Vahanam. Many devotees acquired the blessings of Srinivas perumal.
