The annual Pavithrotsavam took place grandly at Thirumeyyam Sri Sathyamurthi Perumal Koil between August 21 and August 23rd, 2017. On this gracious occasion, the deities were adorned with pavithrams, homam was performed followed by Poornahuthi.
Pavithrotsavam is a ritual as ordained in the Agamas to glorify sAnnithyam and amend various shortcomings, if any that might have occurred during the performance of day to day rituals at the temple over a year.
