On 4th September, Avani-Shravanam, Swami Desikan thiruveedhi purapadu took place on a grand note at Mylapore Sri Vedantha Desikar Devastanam. It is also the Kadai Shravanam, which means the last shravanam before the grand ten days utsavam for Swami Desikan. Swami Desikan decorated beautifully enjoyed the purapadu in Melkote kedayam ( The prabhai is a lookalike of Melkote Cheluva Narayana Perumal’s prabhai). Lots of devotees took part in the utsavam and received the blessings of our acharya vallal Swami Desikan.
