On September 13, 2017 (Hevilambi Avani Rohini), Sri Krishna Jayanthi was celebrated at Thiruvellukai SriAzhagiyaSinga Perumal Temple. On this occasion, Sri Krishnar blessed the devotees from the Kannadi arai. On the following day, Uriyadi Urchavam took place. Purappadu took place for Sri Krishnan and Sri Azhagiyasinga Perumal Sridevi Bhoodevi nachiyar sametha in divya pushpa alankaram. This was followed by Theetham, sadari and prasadaam for the devotees.
