Therazhundhur Sri Amuraviappan Thirupavitrotsavam took place on a grand note from 24th October till 28th October. With Arulicheiyal and Veda parayanam goshti the utsavam concluded with Udhaya Garuda sevai, theerthavari, Mahapooranahuti and periya satumurai. Many astikas in and around Therazhundhur took part in the mahotsavam and received the blessings of Swami Desikan and Sri Sengamalavalli thayar sametha Sri Devadiraja Perumal.
