On December 30, 2017; Hevilambi Margazhi Karthigai, Day 5 of Era Patthu Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Aravamudan Sannidhi, Kumbakonam (Thirukkudanthai). Significantly, Nammazhawar Thiruvadi Thozal took place on this day and Sri Aravamudan (Sarangapani) alongwith Sri Komalavalli Thayar and Andal gave darsanam in beautiful alankaram on Adiseshan Era Patthu commenced on December 26, 2017.
The Pagal Patthu of Thiruadhyayana Utsavam at the temple was celebrated from December 16, 2017 to December 25, 2017 and perumal blessed the devotees in beautiful alankarams on these days. On December 25, 2017, Thirumangai Azhwar Thiruvadi Thozhal took place with grand arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the occasion and received the blessings of Divya Dampathis, Azhwars and Acharyas.
