On 24th January 2018, Madamylai Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple, Hevilambi Varusha Rathasapthami Mahotsavam took place on a grand note. Perumal purapadu took place on Soorya Prabhai Vahanam and Chandra parabahai vaahanam in the morning and the evening respectively. As soon as the morning thiruvaradhanam and satrumurai was over Perumal started from his Sannadhi to the vahana mandapam. Decorated majestically with dashing thiruvabharanams, Perumal rode the Soorya Prabhai vaahanam. Later in the evening Srinivasa Perumal enjoyed purapadu in Chandra Pabhai vaahanam.Perumal stopped at the eagerly waiting devotees for accepting their offerings during the entire purapadu.
