On 02-02-2018 Friday,Thai Magam, Avathara Nakshatram of Thirumazhisai Azhwar was celebrated at Mylapore Sri Srinivasa Perumal in a grand manner. In the morning, Perumal along with Thayar and Thirumazhisai Azhwar had tirumanjanam later Astanam. In the evening Sri Srinivasa Perumal and Sri Thirumazhisai Azhwar had thiruveedhi purapadu. After thiruveedhi purapadu Sri Srinivasa Perumal joined Sri Alermelmangai Thayar for Ul-purapadu. Thirumazhisai Azhwar enjoyed the pathi ulathal of the divya dhampathies. After pathi ulathal, prasadam was distributed to the large number of devotees present to receive the blessings of Swami Desikan, Swami Thirumazhisai Azhwar, Sri Alermalmangai Thayar and Sri Srinivasa Perumal.
