As part of the ongoing Panguni Peruvizha (Brahmotsavam) atĀ Mannargudi Sri Rajagopalaswami Temple, Day 4 of the utsavam is being celebrated today (March 10, 2018; Hevilambi Masi Moolam). Earlier in the morning. Sri Rajagopalan adorned with beautiful blue vastram and pushpa alankaram had purappadu on Pallakku (Palanquin).
The utsavam commenced onĀ March 6, 2018 with Sri Sennai Mudalvar purappadu and Mrithsangrahanam. On March 7, 2018 (Hevilambi Masi Visakam), in the morning Sri Perumal had Purappadu to Yagasalai Mandapam and Homam was performed followed by Perumal Purappadu and Dwajarohanam was performed. Then in the afternoon Thirumanjanam was performed to the Divyadampathis.Ā Later in the evening Sri Perumal along with His Consorts had Thiruveethi Purappadu on Kodichapparam. The vahanam was beautifully decorated with lights. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti.
On Day 2 (March 8 2018) morning, Sri Perumal had Thiruveethi Purappadu on Pallakku. Later in the evening Sri Perumal had Venugopalan Thirukolam followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu on Punnai Mara Vahanam.The 3rd day of BrahmotsavamĀ (March 9, 2018) started with Pallaku Sevai in the morning. By evening Sri Rajagopalan had a Raja Alangaram with gorgeous garlands and jewelleries. And the purappadu had been taken place on a big Velli Hamsa Vaahanam. Many devotees are visiting Mannargudi to participate in the Panguni Brahmotsavam, have dharshan of the Divyadampathis and receive their blessings.
